Thank you to everyone who came to my first Brighton Artist Open House this year to explore the South Downs via my paintings. It was wonderful to see so many visitors, it was even more amazing to have been, unbeknown to me, awarded Highly Commended by judges, and runner up in the 'Artist of the Year', category from 1000 artists and 180 houses.

It was a great start to my painting career in Sussex, having previously transformed the North Downs into stunning paintings for the last 15 years or so.   It was my third solo 'sell out' exhibition, with 18 exquisite paintings as well as limited edition now being enjoyed in homes, in London, Chicago, Hampshire, Surrey and Kent, and of course Sussex.

I've been out and about sketching South Down's views, and am now working on new oils in my studio for my open house in May 2025.  If you'd like to you can follow my explorations and see my new paintings on Facebook or Instagram as I finish them.
