Hello, 

My name is Bonnita and I am a Sussex artist, in Brighton, creating jewel like, realistic, works of the South Downs.

Since my early teens, I have been drawn to nature, and my passion then as it is now, is to be out and about exploring, sketching and painting the great outdoors.  It is exciting to be 'on the spot' capturing ever changing scenes, moods and seasons of the South Downs in Sussex, and rewarding also to create more detailed works in the studio. Some of which I have turned into museum quality limited edition giclee prints. 

I am currently painting a new collection of works, which focus on capturing the meadow flowers that adorn the slopes of these rolling hills.
